Swedish Massage is just a basic form of massage that is taught in most massage schools.
It is highly therapeutic and relaxing to the body and mind. They massage the muscles of the body to try to get them to relax!
Most massage therapists start out doing swedish massage but usually add other things to their bag of techniques.
The best thing to do is to call whoever is going to be doing the massage to find out what they really do and what you can expect or find their website.
Sounds like you may not have ever had a massage. Don’t worry. You have complete control over what will happen in the massage and can say stop that doesn’t feel good or yes that does feel good.
